Great gutters, but get somebody else to install them. I discovered that my K-guard gutters had the drip edge installed incorrectly - behind them, with resultant water running down fascia board and rotting it. Had roofer look at it and he contacted KG of Lynchburg personally. He encountered an arrogant attitude among office staff, which when I called was duplicated. The office girl began lecturing me about losing my warrranty if someone else took the gutter down to repair the fascia. Very arrogant and condescending attitude. It was as if THEY were doing ME a favor by having my business. It all ended with a terse email telling me they were cancelling my "warranty" because I was letting the roofer - with 30 years' experience - take the gutter down, instead of paying them to come 40 miles to do it. Hell, I didn't even know I had a warranty. It's a GUTTER, for God's sake. This ain't rocket surgery. Anyway, these are great gutters and trouble-free. Find somebody else to put them up. Addendum: I see the owner has replied to my review. I stand by it 100%. I have known this contractor a long time, and his reputation is impeccable. As for "One Stop Home Improvement," that a business has such poor customer relationships that it feels the need to record phone calls - even videotaping its counter sales - tells us all we need to know. I'll be contacting the K-guard home office when I get the time.

They were the best company to work with and have not had a problem since then. Took under a day to install and now I do not have to clean the gutters when it starts raining. Give them a call today and stay dry!

It’s a shame that Betsy Hudson posted a comment here on this review forum when she WORKS there. If this company gets employees to write a review, what kind of “great” company is it?? I will not recommend this company or any of their subcontractors at all. Stay tuned to the local news outlets for further details.

BUYER BEWARE! Read your contract THOROUGHLY when dealing with One Stop Home Improvement Shop!!! Extremely poor experience, poor customer service, and shoddy workmanship on replacement windows installed on October 1, 2018. Just because you have discussed and agreed upon services to be done; if your sales rep neglects to list all work to be done on your contract it will not be done by One Stop Home Improvement Shop. Even when my son-in-law tried to stop them during installation and tell them they were not doing the job requested and was given an estimate for, they will tell you they will let their boss know and continue working. They will say “I am sorry that you do not understand what you purchased, however your contract is clear & you did sign it “. You can waste your time calling them and reminding them of everything that was discussed and agreed upon prior to installation because if they did not fill in any of that information on the contract you are throwing your money in the toilet. They will file a warrant in debt against you and even sue your widow who did not sign a contract. Our neighbor was a witness to all that was promised to my husband by the salesman who perjured himself in court. Had she have known they would lie, she would have "taken off from work" and come with me to defend my husband’s account of the events first hand since he passed away. They can show you what you will be getting and then claim “it is a display case to make it possible for **** to carry it around with him & not damage it. It is not a part of the window”. They stated in court to the judge their display was black and my neighbor states that is also a lie. The sample my husband and neighbor were shown had a window frame and sill around the window, windows, and window track; but what they inserted was just the track and windows minus the frame. One Stop was hired to replace two perfectly good basement windows that had rotten wood on the frames. They removed just the windows and left the existing rotten wood frame, inserted the frameless window insert in the rotten wood frame and covered over the rotten wood with aluminum and a lot of caulk. It looks like they used scrap pieces of metal flashing pieced together over rotten wood and the windows no longer match. When my husband confronted them they stated that yes “There is rotted wood outside the windows and we can replace that for you for $225” extra. The rotten wood was not hidden from view and the sales rep knew that removing the rotten wood was the reason my husband hired them. They did offer “to have someone else come and re-wrap the windows because they were not done according to our standard of excellence”. They came to do a job and didn’t even bring enough materials to do it properly. They pieced together the roughly 3 ft x 6 inch space that runs vertical between the set of windows and nailed them in place. The apron on one window is 3 ½ inches and the other is 1 ½ inches on windows that are side by side. There are empty gaps, dents, and bubbles, clearly not anyone’s standard of excellence. If you MUST use One Stop Home Improvement Shop read that contract and don’t leave anything to an understanding before you sign. Even though they state (and make you sign an acknowledgement) that they will not proceed if they see rotten wood, this is only adhered to when it suits their purpose. My husband’s contract was based on visual evidence of rotten wood, seen by their sales representative the day he signed their contract. They took advantage of him because he was wheelchair bound and could not go to the lower level of the house by the time they finally came to install.
