Pond was on their short list of 5-star rated roofing contractors. Yelp reinforced this assessment of Pond, reporting an overall rating of 4.7 over seventeen reviews in total. Pond excels at custom communication. From the scheduling of the initial assessment through the final inspection of the roof and gutter installation, I was impressed at the professionalism and competence of my points of contact for scheduling, installation, and inspection. The initial assessment went smoothly and lasted only as long as necessary. There was no hard sell. When it was time to schedule the work, Pond was able to work me in early, exceeding their original date by several weeks; that was a pleasant surprise. I would highly recommend Pond for roof and gutter replacement. They communicate well, are always available to answer questions, do great work, and provide fair pricing.

Pond Roofing replaced my roof last month. The process was smooth and communication was very clear and straightforward. Mickey came to do the estimate in October and he was more thorough than expected. That led to a clear and reasonable estimate. The wait time was lengthy but that was only because the weather created a huge backlog. As dates opened up they contacted by phone to schedule. They showed up on time and worked until the job was complete. They had to replace a lot of wood but that didn’t lead to any delays. They were done in a day. I highly recommend them and I’d use them for other services.

Pond Roofing’s Team was able to correct the original metal roof installer's error in failing to fully connect one of the metal panels into the panel above it. Rather than simply caulk the gap, they were able to lift the panel and properly connect it - then add sealant in the unlikely event the smallest of gaps might still be present. Amazing craftsmanship! You will have to wait a few weeks to get on their busy schedule, but they are with the wait. We are extraordinarily grateful for Pond’s Team of professionals for their great work.

We chose Pond Roofing after a significant amount of research of customer reviews throughout the Northern Virginia area for work on our rental property. We were overall very pleased with their quality of work, timeliness, and communication. We are giving 4 stars instead of 5 due to a frustrating limitation of the work they provided that prevented the entire scope of contract to be completed. We requested and received a quote for re-roofing our home and detached shed as well as gutter replacement. The proposal was signed and deposit given. On the day the workers arrived we received a call to say that the shed could not be re-roofed due to a neighbor's shed's roof being tied to our shed roof in a precarious way. While this was a legitimate reason to not re-roof the shed without coordinating with the neighbor, I was told that a pre-job survey was conducted as part of the quote process. This limitation should have been identified at that time and would have allowed me to work with my neighbor correct his encroachment. I am now in a position that I will require a second round of roofing on the property at a future time. With the exception of that frustrating situation, the communication, workmanship, and quality (albeit only 1 month since installation) of Pond was much above expectations and I would use them again.
