If I could give this company [if that's what we're going to call them] ZERO stars, I would. I called for an estimate. Spoke with Umberto. Said he would get his crew out to look and provide a quote on 5.30.2019. I called the next day to see what their thoughts were on the cost of the work to be done. He said that his 'tech' hadn't turned in his paperwork yet from the previous day, but that he would email me the quote just as soon as the tech got in to the office. 3 days later, no quote... so I called them back. I was sent to voicemail where I left a message asking Umberto to please call me back. **crickets** I called again the next day and was again directed to voicemail... you can totally tell when calling a cell phone when someone denies your call... it's pretty text-book these days. So... I waited until this morning and tried calling Umberto again from the office phone and was AGAIN denied the call and sent to his voicemail. I then tried calling right back, but this time on the 'down-low' using my personal cell phone number instead of the business phone. Wouldn't you know it... Umberto picked right up! I inquired about my quote and what his 'techs' believed it would take to complete the job... he played 'dumb' saying 'You had an appointment with us?'... O M G... really? He started shuffling some papers on his end, scrambling his words, trying to find a suitable excuse as to why no one had come out for the estimate and why he clearly did NOT have his proverbial ducks in a row. At that point, I advised him that this is a very big red flag on how things would go when his crew came to perform this commercial job and advised him that I would take my business elsewhere. Hey Umberto!!.... you just blew your supposed 'company' a ton of work. I am with a Property Management Group that manages 43 properties [both residential and commercial], all of which need regular maintenance and repairs on roofs & gutters. But since you didn't feel the need to get me that 1st quote or even input me on your 'techs' appointment schedule, you get this scathing review on your inabilities to properly coordinate work, let alone a very simple quote.
Unprofessional. Scheduled an estimate and didn't bother to show up or call. When I called them to see if the estimate was postponed, the call was hung up on. Demonstrates a high-level of untrustworthiness and concern for customer approval. My suggestions is to look anywhere but here for quality care. After posting here, I was bombarded by rude phone calls and emails, which I responded to by telling them we were not interested in their services. I'm guessing they must not be able to contract decent business due to their poor customer service representation. What a shame!
Yes to GNS!! Jose showed up for the estimate when scheduled. I actually forgot he was coming but fortunately I was home. I received an estimated price range verbally because I pushed for one. Jose let me know that he would send the factual estimate in email once he priced it out which he did. Jose also went over the jobs already scheduled to set my expectations of when they would start my roof. They beat that estimate by a few days earlier. The workers respected my property while here and cleaned up after they were done. They found a piece of plywood that was damaged right at the spot where I heard a link. They replaced it and saved the old one for me to see how damaged it was and no longer useable. I love my roof. Jose even climbed up and nailed some siding that was hanging from my house out of good will. The color Jose suggested is beautiful and I get happy with the way my house looks every time I drive up. Love the warranty they provide on their work. If you are looking for a new roof or repair do not pass this company by. I’m am not sure what was going on with the low ratings from others based on not showing up or hard to reach. My experience was 100% opposite. Phone calls were either answered or promptly returned. Brand new roof installed before the projected date. Follow up walk through and discussion with Jose after work was completed and before final check paid. Paid 1/2 up front final after completion. Follow up email 2 weeks later to check in and make sure I was satisfied and encountered no issues. Satisfied with CNS communication and customer service skills. My roof was completed on May 1, 2019
These guys really came through for me in a big way. Had a small leak that was causing damage fast and no other companies were returning my calls. GNS called the very next morning and was on my roof by noon. Made the repairs and they were really fair with their rates. I really appreciated their promptness and will keep their number on my refrigerator for sure!!
With the amount of rain we've been having I have been continuously getting leaks around my house. I decided to call GNS Roofing. Ms. Gloria was a nice lady who helped me with the questions I had, and I was frustrated and she was able to fit me in on a tight schedule. It's been raining so I had to reschedule which I understood. Jose and his worker came and helped me out. Fixed some small leaks, and was able to cover my roof. I have now signed contract with them to get my roof replaced. He was very reasonable with his price, explained to me everything that was going on, he offered great products and was able to give me proof of his liability insurance with no problem. I am excited to get my new roof replaced! Thanks GNS Roofing for the quick response.
