I was so pleased with the estimation process with Steve Jacobs. He was most knowledgeable and had a way of explaining each step of the process. He has wonderful people skills and the experience that he shares freely. He took his time and it was so refreshing to be able to ask a question and get an answer that not only made since but was 100% accurate. Thank you Steve - you are welcome here at my home any time.
I just had QBE do the roof of my house along with the gutters. They did a great job. The communication was great, and I never wanted for information. Ray was my salesperson and she was awesome to work with as well and gave me all the info I needed to make the right decision. No project is perfect but any issues I had were worked out immediately and to my satisfaction. I would definitely recommend their services to anyone in need.
Started a contract for fences, for two houses, with them in May. Already having communication issues, as well as quality of work, and follow through. First house was not finished to their own satisfaction. Second house now pushed into another week. Hoping Tom will get everything resolved quickly, so that we can give a five star rating. :-( 7/2 Unfortunately, the response of the owner does not truthfully reflect what is going on. You failed to mention that my husband asked to have someone else complete the second fence, because your worker didn't do the first job correctly. Would YOU want someone to complete a second job for you that you would have to go back and have fixed? Also, the response failed to mention the fact that workers that were supposed to stop by last evening, July 1st, failed to show, or even send a text message. Even the delivery for this second fence was not correct, and had to be fixed. It was left on the grass, in our yard, for several days, which was killing the grass, and my husband ended up moving that delivery to the driveway, except the cement. He left that for Quality Built. The response also failed to mention that the brush removal was because the contractor went to the wrong house first. They had told us the reverse of what they did, and that did not give my husband time to clean out the brush, and branches. He also failed to mention that my husband cut everything up and left it for the trash pick-up. When Quality Built came to finally pick up this "free" clean-up, it was trash day, and VB would have picked it up. Please address the fact that the first contractor called my husband's cell phone, on a Friday, during the work day, at least 10 times. He wanted my husband to come approve the fence so that he could get paid. Do customers normally approve your jobs? Isn't that something the people at your company should do? The sad part is that I was ready to bump up the rating to a 3 star, following the completion of the first job to both our's, and Quality Built's, satisfaction. However, after reading so many "untruths" directed at us, I'm not ready to do that. I've seen several responses to low customer reviews that say "we've bent over backwards". It's our opinion that good communication, follow-up, and quality workmanship would probably have saved your company from this review. 7/3 Contractor has shown up both yesterday afternoon, and today. He is working hard to complete this job. He is conscientious about cleaning up and communicates well. Much different than the first experience. Unfortunately, because of the "Owner's Response", we can not give this job a 5 star rating.
Rae was awesome during the quote process and explained everything very thoroughly. The gutters look great and the company’s owner came out when I had a question about some of the work, the roof repair team is top notch!
