Terrible. Called multiple times and left messages, can't get any response from this company.

Our roof was reaching the 20 year mark and we were looking to move. We knew that a replacement roof was required and I already had my roofer picked. Don and Jerod of Cougar Construction completed a neighbor's roof a year prior. That neighbor was very happy with the bid, the options, the process, and the final product. Don conducted the site visit and provided us three options in a timely fashion. A few questions and a phone call later we had the material and date set for the job. This past Monday, Jerod and crew arrived at 8 AM to remove the old roof, make some minor repairs, and install the new IKO shingles. This includes wrapping all vents, jacks, and extrusions in Water & Ice Shield. The crews did an immaculate job with the installation and clean up all in one day. We would highly recommend Cougar Construction & Roofing.

At initial contact a meeting was scheduled within a day or two. As I talked to Don on the GAF system, Jared was on the roof taking measurements. Within 2 days I had a written bid. I spent the next week gathering other bids and figuring out what I really wanted. I talked to them several times to clarify and make adjustments to the bid which I received the same day or next. At the same time I had 2other GAF certified bids that I had changed so all 3 contractors were bidding on the exact same roof. Cougar Construction and Roofing was by far the best and I got "good" feelings about Don and Jared. At bid acceptance work was scheduled approximately 30 days later. They week before I was contacted and told the schedule would slip by a few days. By the end of that week it was confirmed that materials would be delivered Tuesday and work would begin on Wednesday. On Wednesday a 4 person crew arrived just before 8 am and Don and Jared at 8 am. They reviewed requirements for the roof and work began. The crew was totally awesome!! The teamwork was totally amazing, it was like 1 guy with 8 arms. It was a fluid ballet that was amazing to watch. The roof was done at 7 pm and they spent the next 30 minutes cleaning up the yard including 4 passes around the house and yard by each crew member. I have only found a couple staples in really odd places since. I have already recommend Cougar Construction and Roofing to 4 other people and need to get more business cards to pass out. I absolutely recommend them for a roof!!

The most honest and dedicated people I have met in a long time, who also happen to run a roofing business. They will stand by their work and you will be satisfied as I was. Never wrote a review until I felt so inclined to do so for Jared and Don, and their awesome roofing team.
