Our neighbor down the street had this company do some remodeling on their house. They built a very nice deck and installed windows in the back of their house. We saw that the work they did was high quality and we just had them build a new deck for us. They also added sliding doors off our kitchen that lead out onto the deck, we are very satisfied with the work Joseph Builders did for us. Highly recommended.

We had Joseph Builders do some siding work for us this spring. We were very happy with the results, and then called them back to put some windows in this summer. This company is very professional and we are glad we had them do the work. I can tell the windows are going to save us a lot ofmoney on our heating bills this winter.

Made contact with Joseph Builders Inc. through Ted Becker (I believe he's the owner, based on his truck and friendly reviews from his sons on Joseph Builders' Facebook page) to get a free estimate on a deck. This was my first experience having a small contractor come out to build, so naturally I had a lot of questions about the process and not a good idea of how much it would cost for a project of my size. He seemed friendly over the phone when we set up the meet, and again when he came to my home to look at what I was trying to do. I said I was interested in getting estimates for Trex and Cedar for the given dimensions of the project and everything seemed good to proceed. He told me it'd take 2-3 days to write up the estimates, but probably sooner. When I didn't hear back from him I called him several times before he finally called back. Our conversation was going great before I asked if there was a chance the deck would cost between $1000-$2000 and if there were ways to lower prices (just out of curiosity) in anyway. His demeanor immediately changed as if he were offended and became very defensive. I told him I understood his response and way of wanting to work and had no issue with it, I only wanted to ask because I was unsure of the process. He said again he would get me the estimate (next day this time), and because of his poor attitude, I can't say I'm surprised that I still haven't heard back from him. I now know (no help from Ted Becker) that the deck I want built will be closer to $3000 on the low end for cedar and higher for Trex. I'll end up spending closer to $5000 for my deck, but it won't be through Ted Becker and Joseph Builders Inc. Ted Becker can be a nice guy upfront when he wants your business, but when he thinks you're a waste of his time he shows it through his lack of professionalism and inability to keep his word.
