I've used Rick at National Chimney numerous times and have referred him to numerous people. He is extremely knowledgeable and responsive. He's also very reasonable in cost and doesn't try to gouge clients for things they don't need.

EDITED: It's funny that the negative reviews are "not in his system". LOL!! Maybe this happened when he was in jail for murdering a little 10 pound pup he was so terrified of???? SMH. In my opinion, he didn't get nearly enough jail time for stomping on the head of a little 10 pound dog THAT WAS IN HER OWN YARD ON A LEASH. Despicable sub-human This "person" murdered his neighbors small dog !! Abby was euthanized on October 24, 2015 after being violently attacked by Rick Baker of Lacey, WA. Abby was in her own yard and tethered so she could urinate before her owner, Melissa went to work that morning. Abby's companion dog was in the house and started to bark frantically so Melissa went to see what was wrong. She opened her door to see Abby lying flat on the ground with Rick Baker standing over her on Melissa's property. Abby was bleeding and her head had been crushed. She was fighting to breathe. Melissa rushed Abby to Animal Emergency and was told "Abby's injuries were consistent with blunt force trauma consistent with someone stomping on her head and her prognosis was very grave." The vet also said That the "force was so tremendous that the skull bone was pushed into the dogs head." Abby was humanely euthanized. Rick Bakers defense is that Abby "attacked" him. Keep in mind this all happened in Abby's yard while she was tethered. Richard (Rick) Dale Baker was charged with animal cruelty in Thurston County on January 26, 2016. The case number is 16-1-00139-34.

Good workers and a great owner. Work was done timely and the cost was reasonable. I definitely recommend them!

Their chimney cleaning was ineffective and dangerously unclean (had a clog within a few uses). their roof repair was a joke, all it did was redistribute the water so now the entire roof needs to be replaced. and when requested for a re-roofing estimate they had us wait two weeks before they finally came out only to inform us they would not even look at the roof.
