Worst company ever. Worst workmanship, owner cant tell the truth, and he lies about everything. He has a full time person just trying to delete all the negative comments, and they have an F-review on BBB.
This company has no customer or employee loyalty, customers could not get them to fix issues caused by employees. I recommend Matters Improvement for exterior improvement.
The absolute worst experience I have had with a contractor was with PM Construction & Restoration LLC and Paul Molkentin. I was verbally lied to on several occasions and several statements in the proposal/contract were misrepresented or completely false. All of PM Construction & Restoration LLC's work had to be completely removed and redone by a competent and professional contractor. Do your homework before considering this company. Go online to Wisconsin Circuit Court and you will find several complaints have been filed against PM Construction & Restoration LLC and/or the owner Paul Molkentin. FOX 6 News did a piece earlier this year about him leaving several customers hanging (quick Google search and you can see the video). F rating with the BBB. In addition, Paul Molkentin's contractors license/registration (ID# 1326449) that was provided expired on 10/26/18. I will never recommend PM Construction & Restoration LLC or any company Paul Molkentin is associated with to anyone, ever!
It was a complete hassle working with the owner Paul and getting my project completed. The concrete work was OK, but there were many other issues that tainted the overall project. It took over month of voice messages and emails just to get an approximate start date for my project. When the crew was breaking up the old concrete they didn't follow their Supervisor's instructions and put up a plywood barrier in front of our windows. Of course they broke a window. They also failed to level the poured steps properly because several steps have low spots where water pools. All my customers use these stairs to get to my shop, and having mini ice rinks on them just isn't what I was looking for! Paul promised me they would fix both these problems, this but July has turned to December and here I sit with no resolution. I spent the last 5 months calling Paul, calling his office, and emailing his office. At first they gave me lip service, but now no one returns my calls or emails. I would not recommend anyone use PM Construction for any work.
I only leave good reviews for people and companies that deserve it. I strongly believe the this company’s owner is the definition of selfish and dishonest. After seeing how the owner treats his employees and his lack of interest in working with customers I firmly believe that there is no point in wasting time investing in the company. You will be very disappointed
