The owner drives his truck to superstore and park his little truck across TWO parking spot in a extremely busy evening. Won’t deal with this kind of selfish people at all, imagine how lazy this guy is, and how would this guy treat all the jobs. What you have done wrong is a fact, nothing you say would change that. And your reply makes yourself even more funny, it’s the age of internet, there is a reason why online reviews exist. A personal conversation won’t let everyone know what type of person you are.
Amex has done multiple jobs for me and because of that Sean has become a close friend of mine. I couldn't believe it when he told me about this attack on his review page by this Toraj and family client of his. I want to clarify that I have never had any issues and have always been 100% happy with my jobs. I will continue referring Sean to my friends and clients.
In April 2017 Amex was paid a $1000 deposit to do do some minor roofing repairs. After making several calls, in June we were told work would begin in a couple of weeks. By late fall, no work had been started so we canceled and requested our deposit back. After several unanswered calls and an email, a small claim was initiated with the B.C. Civil Resolution Tribunal. A binding judgement has been made against Amex and there is currently an outstanding payment order in effect and due for $1110.50. Amex, previously a reputable long term North Shore roofer, closed operations a few years ago. Sean Teather, previous owner of North Shore roofing closed operations and reopened under the Amex name. Note that North Shore Roofing still maintains an active website and telephone number but is not licensed to operate in North Vancouver.
Im so glad I went with these guys.the owner was there to answer my questions all the time. Workers were freindly and pleasant to deal with and always asked me if my walkways were ok at night and if I was happy with the daily cleanup every day. Such a great job and service.
The current company owner refuses to honor their warranty as he feels that, as the new owner, he doesn't not have to honor warranty's issued by the previous owner. We bought the roof 10 years ago and were given a 25-year warranty. He was very rude and absolutely refused to honor any of the previous owner's warranties. As he is conducting business under the original company name we feel he is morally obligated to honor the original warranty. NOTE: The warranty is in my wife's name; Marianne R.
