Martin and the team were very professional. They were prompt, polite and did a wonderful job on our roof. They took photos of all their work so we could see exactly what they'd done. They tidied up well too. Would highly recommend them! Many thanks lads!

Let's be honest here, tradesmen whatever their trade do not have the best reputation when it comes to dealing with pensioners and relieving them of their money. Whilst visiting my parents, I noticed that the ridge and hip tiles on their roof were very loose and the mortar falling out of the joints. Being a trader myself, I was very cautious when obtaining quotes. I called 3 roofers and 2 didn't even bother to show; probably because I asked too many questions when talking on the phone. The only people who answered all my questions, professionally and actually turned up on January 3rd 2019, was Martin from N, Bird & Son. I loved his no-nonsense approach, he explained exactly what was required and what he was going to do , he then confirmed it all in writing whilst on site. We were very happy with the price for the volume of work that needed to be completed. The guys started, they were very respectful, polite, pleasant and tidy whilst on site, this was a great relief as my parents are in their 90's. Martin was in constant contact with me, asking if all was okay and making sure we were happy with progress. He attended on the final day and we were very pleased indeed with the results. If you're in need of repairs or a replacement roof, I'd have no hesitation in recommending Martin and the Team at N Bird & Son; they're very reasonable, great prices and trustworthy people and especially respectful towards pensioners. This in my book, speaks volumes about them as a company! Thanks guys!
