I was recently scammed by a doorstep roofer who made out my roof had a problem. Eventually I smelled a rat and called McDonalds Roofing who sent someone out straight away and arranged for 2 guys to check my roof the next morning and surprise surprise my roof was perfectly fine and they took photos for me to prove it. Any roofer who says there is nothing wrong with your roof has got to be good in my book. So helpful and efficient and am sure their work, had I needed it, would be the same
Great guys, Great Service. (ALM DELIVERY DRIVER)
I engaged John and his team from McDonald Roofing to replace a flat roof that had reached the end of its life and to carry out other roof repairs to parapet walls, gulleys and replace lead flashing. The service I received and the quality of the workmanship was first class. The work required the property to be scaffolded and had to be undertaken whilst the property was still occupied. The professionalism and courtesy the roofing team extended to the residents during the contract was a key factor in ensuring the works were successful. The whole process, from initial quotation through to sign-off was straightforward and easily managed. John was careful to explain the process and the works required so there were no hidden surprises or costs. I should mention the office support too which was excellent and efficient in dealing with all of the paperwork. I was so impressed with the service I received that I now use my experience with McDonald Roofing as a case study when training people in how to get customer care right. I have no hesitation in recommending McDonald Roofing to others – a great local roofing business !
Our 1930's chalet style semi needed re-roofing, and we wanted the job done properly by a "competent roofer". We invited three firms to give us a quotation, and although McDonalds was not the cheapest, we felt confident that they would do the job well, using good quality materials. Even before the work began, we were impressed by the efficient way they dealt with our email and telephone contacts, and kept us informed of when the scaffolding would be put up, and when the job would begin. We found the team who did the work professional and courteous, and willing to explain things as the job went along. I always find that having a good working relationship with tradespeople carrying out work on your home helps things go more smoothly, and the relationship with Gary and his crew could not have been better. It was a joy to see the craftsmanship that they put into some of the trickier pieces of tile and lead work. The job made steady progress, despite what were at times hot and uncomfortable working conditions. We could not have been happier with the end result. The interest in the work being done on our house, using clay plain tiles as in the original design, not the large modern concrete tiles used in many nearby renovations, was clear to see, from neighbours and passers-by. We saw several people using their 'phones to photograph the McDonald Roofing sign and contact details! When people asked if I would recommend McDonalds, I said that we were very happy with our contractor, and if they liked what they saw on our roof, then they should certainly invite them to give a quotation when they needed to have some roof work done.
McDonald roofing were recommended by a work colleague as I wanted some alterations to a pitch roofed extension. These guys are first class, extremely professional, polite and punctual. After John popped round initially to price up, communication was great with the end result looking superb. Would recommend and certainly use again. Pete
