I arranged an appointment with them and they rang me on the day of the appointment asking about if my 'husband' ( who I never mentioned) would be attending the appointment. They were insistent on rearranging appointment when my husband was there. I said I wouldn't have arranged an appointment unless I was in a position to make a decision. He started asking if I had joint ownership of the house. I'm not answering questions to some stranger over the phone regarding my relationship and home owner status. I cancelled the appointment because of his weird attitude on the phone, if I'd been a man he wouldn't have insisted his wife be present at the quote. After reading the other terrible reviews on here it just confirms my impression.

Anglia Roofing Solutions replaced a flat roof on an extention for my mum and dad. They were kind enough to rebook the quotation appointment so I could be present for my peace of mind. Both myself and my mum and dad were 100% satisfied from start to finish, the lads doing the job didn't stop working! My only complaint is that I tried to contact the office and didnt get an answer, but called back an hour later an did, so only a minor thing really!

Absolutely awful, don't touch with a barge pole, had to get Trading Standards involved... My parents got them to reroof their bungalow this year. To start with they took a lot of chasing to get any information out of them. My parents were promised that they would see samples of roof tiles soon after signing the contract but until I put a lot of pressure on them months down the line none appeared...then started the saga of their work. We pushed for some information around when they might start the work and were then promised the scaffolding would be put up and work would start very soon but the scaffolding appeared in dribs and drabs over weeks with one occasion only a dozen poles were dropped off and left. We kept being promised that the scaffolding would be finished and they told us it was all the scaffolding companies fault (we spoke to the scaffolding owner after all the mess and turns out he was asked to stall for as long as he could). They eventually started work on one of the hottest weeks of the year with a single worker stripping the roof by himself. Some help was provided the next day but the two additional men did not seem to take any care over the job, just healing over old nails rather than removing them properly, dropping nails and concrete into the loft insulation and the area surrounding the bungalow. When the new felt was laid on the roof many small holes were made by these nails leaving it not water tight. By Thursday my father was really worried with the work being completed and that work that had been requested in the contract was not being done so I went into the offices to complain in person. The directors came out to the site on the Friday and promised that they would fix the issues, the property would be left water tight that night (storms were forecast) and the work that should have been done (treating rotten wood) would be done. The loft beams were sprayed but only from the inside that day meaning that the bottoms of the beams and some outer beams were not treated. The roof was certainly not left water tight. My elderly father ended up having to climb around in the loft, late at night to try and prevent water damage due to the amount of water coming in through the felt. Unsurprisingly I was fuming the next morning when I visited and saw what they had done. We had a director and a workman out to make the property watertight which they did by covering PART of the roof with a second layer of felt. We requested that they did not return until we'd received legal advice. On the Monday more water came into the house. When we approached the director he claimed that this would have not happened if we had let them return on the Sunday to fix the issues....missing the point that to fix all the problems would have meant completely stripping the roof again, respraying all the beams, relaying the felt and securing; not something that they could have done when it rained ALL of Sunday. After a few weeks and Trading Standards getting involved we managed to get the deposit back minus the roofing tiles that my parents were still able to use. When the work was being rectified a list of faults were found including: - Tiles not lapped correctly leaving some with not enough overlap and the very top tile with far too much - Not the same spacing of tiles between the front and the back of the property (property is symmetrical) - No overlap at either and of the property where their should have been one - One beam was so rotten at its base it could be sucked up by a hoover. This should have been raised and repaired but was just felted over To top off all of this story I found out that my parents had signed to pay a whopping £12,000 to have their roof renewed. That is over DOUBLE what it actually cost in the end when we got another roofer to do the work, which included 2 man days worth of clearing up all the mess they left on site (hundreds of nails, concrete lumps, old roofing felt etc from all around bungalow, soffit and loft), and an emergency call out to have the roof made water tight while we sorted out the mess.

Don't trust this company, be warned they are very dodgy and being investigated.
