Repaired a roof for me which leaked a few months later. Refused come back, kept saying yeah don't worry we will have a look but wouldn't arrange a time. Obviously couldn't care less that I had a leak damaging my property. I got another roofer in who spotted the issue, which was basically bad workmanship. They clearly don't guarantee there work?? Jason (owner) is also rude and aggressive.

AVOID JW ROOFING & Building Services. Very poor service, charged me twice to repair a leak in my roof. Triple the last price. Although I paid him both times Work still not do. Contacted him over seven times and he kept agreeing to go to the property but failed to turn up giving excuses all the time. I go another roofer to inspect the work and was told that JW Roofing and building did a poor job and I should get him to rectify it. I still cannot get it done. I now have to get the last person who looked at the job to rectify it. Paying for the same work three times. AVOID JW ROOFING & Building .If you don't you will regret it.

Jason is a friendly enough guy and the roof looks fine to me however I am not expert and only time will tell. My issues are with what has happened since. I had a new roof in December 2017. Two weeks after the roof was finished, we had some snowfall(about 6 hours and not too heavy). As a result, 3 of the clips which hold the guttering in place snapped. I text Jason expecting him to be apologetic as the roof was new and instead he said he could come around and fix it but would need to charge me £50 because this was a result of extreme weather. Extreme weather in the UK is not 6 hours of snowfall.Totally unreasonable for a two week old roof. After several texts, Jason agreed to do this free of charge. It took a few days but nevertheless it was done. When I paid Jason, he said that I would receice the building regulations certificate in 7 days through the post. The price he quoted me included this service. I waited and nothing. I emailed the council who informed me that they had not received an application and in any case someone would have needed to come out and check the roof from the inside which means I would have had to be at home. I text Jason who said that he must have forgotten to do my application and he would get straight on to it. He did however I ended up arranging the appointment for the inspector. Lastly, when putting up the scaffolding, they had to unscrew the wastepipe off the wall. When Jason came to receive his cash payment, I told him that the wastepipe had not been screwed back on to the wall and he said that he would come around in the next few days and do it. He never turned up. A few weeks ago I noticed that he was doing a roof which is 30 seconds walk around the corner from my house. I text him to remind him that my waste was still not fixed to the wall and as he was only working around the corner, could he please come and screw it. He ignored my text. I apparently have 25 years guarantee for this roof but I am not confident that if anything went wrong, Jason would be proactive in fixing it. It feels like he took my £4500 and couldn’t care less now. If you are thinking about getting a new roof, I would carry on looking and get recommendations from friends and family rather than trust pilot. I believe I have been honest and factual with this review.
