UPDATED This dishonest trader is now running advertisements in local papers using logo's that he is not entitled to use that deceive consumers to believe they are protected by Home Improvement Protection (HIP) scheme and that he is approved by the British Board of Agrement (BBA). HIP members provide a deposit protection and insurance backed guarantee and BBA members are approved installers and product certification scheme. NEITHER MARK PICKETT OR HIS COMPANY HOLD ANY MEMBERSHIPS OF HIP OR BBA AND ARE NOT ENTITLED TO USE THE LOGO'S IN ADVERTISING. Consumers should beware as you have no protection from these organisations who's logo's are being used illegally. See pictures. This trader fitted a sub-standard roof on my house that was so bad it had to be completely replaced by another company. The roof fitted by this trader failed Building Regulations and I had to make a claim in the County Court as the trader would not pay for any remedial work or damage caused to my property during the work he carried. After I obtained a CCJ against the trader he has changed his trading style to try to avoid negative feedback. The CCJ attached to this post IS THE SAME TRADER now operating as Hanson Roofing & General Building. The pics attached are ACTUAL WORK done on my roof.
