I needed to replace the roof on my elderly mother’s garage as it was on its last legs and I have no knowledge or experience of replacing roofs. I am very dubious about tradesman and roofers having seen so many programmes on TV about cowboy builders and reading many horror stories in the local paper. I asked Wirral Roofers to have a look at the roof and see what they could do. The inspector who came out was very friendly and had good knowledge about different roofing options and their benefits. He helped me select a roof that was right for us and within our budget. The team who carried out the work were very professional. They arrived on time, kept the area clean and tidy and wore ID badges at all times (something which made my mother feel a lot more comfortable with strange men in the garden). All in all they did a great job and she now has a nice new roof with PVC fascias. Since then i have used them to replace some slipped tiles on my own house which were dislodged during gales. I wold not hesitate to recommend Wirral Roofers to anyone who needs roof work.

Excellent company to deal with, the details of the job were explained clearly and any questions were answered . We had a serious problem with a leaking roof tiles that had become loose and dangerous. initially we hoped the roof could be repaired but it soon became obvious that the falling and slipped roof tiles were loose due to nail rot, the nails were so old they had rusted and corroded away leaving the roof unsafe. Any amount of wind could potentially just blow the tiles off exposing our property to the rain.More seriously the roof was capable of falling in. Due to the seriousness of the problem we decided to get a quote for a full re-roof, the price was give and we accepted. The re-roof was carried out without fuss the correct scaffolding was used in order to conform to all relevant health and safety laws. During the process of having the re-roof we asked for some extra pointing work to be carried out on a different part of the building this work was carried out free of charge, (The cement used to do the pointing was even dyed to the correct colour to match any existing mortar) all of the rubbish was removed completely we were well pleased with the quality of the workmanship the friendly staff We would fully recommend this company to any prospective customers Mr Warren
