The roofing job was great. The workers not so much. My mother is reconditioning my grandmother's house, as my grandma just passed this summer and decided to go with Heidt Roofing to replace the old wood shingles. They were working over Thanksgiving weekend and while at the house I checked on the work in the garage area. I found a few nails in the driveway from the demolition and advised my mom not to park in the driveway until they were finished and I had a chance to go back a sweep the area. I went back a few days later and found that my MIG Welder was missing from the normally, locked garage. It was there on Thanksgiving. I immediately called Mark Heidt and let him know the situation and learned that he hired another company to complete the demolition. So the welder is stolen, lost forever. I would advise that Heidt roofing supply a list of all persons working on each job site and maintain background checks on their sub-contractors.
