Thomas and his team replaced our roof in an emergency, having to have this work done was obviously a stressful situation, but from the first contact we had with him Brendan made it much more bearable. He did everything from the first visit to the quote and the work in quick timescales, fitting us in given the urgency. He and his team were very friendly and respectful and were not at all intrusive, very impressive given the nature of the work they were doing.The work the team did for us looks absolutely first class and they were really helpful in explaining about what they were doing and the materials used etc which we found reassuring given the importance of a good roof to our home and the fact that replacing the roof is a large spend. That said, Tom''s price was very competitive and seems to be excellent value given the work done. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Total Roofing for any project, in fact I already have!

Andy and Paul did a great job felting my gazebo! they waterproofed and added felt tiles to the entire gazebo (4x4) in 4 hours and did an amazing job. The instruction manual that came with the gazebo said that it would take a day to do so really happy with the fast delivery and cheap price. Our 1930's chalet style semi needed re-roofing, and we wanted the job done properly by a "competent roofer". We invited three firms to give us a quotation, and although N Farmer & Sons was not the cheapest, we felt confident that they would do the job well, using good quality materials. Even before the work began, we were impressed by the efficient way they dealt with our email and telephone contacts, and kept us informed of when the scaffolding would be put up, and when the job would begin. We found the team who did the work professional and courteous, and willing to explain things as the job went along. I always find that having a good working relationship with tradespeople carrying out work on your home helps things go more smoothly, and the relationship with Gary and his crew could not have been better. It was a joy to see the craftsmanship that they put into some of the trickier pieces of tile and lead work. The job made steady progress, despite what were at times hot and uncomfortable working conditions. We could not have been happier with the end result. The interest in the work being done on our house, using clay plain tiles as in the original design, not the large modern concrete tiles used in many nearby renovations, was clear to see, from neighbours and passers-by. We saw several people using their 'phones to photograph the N Farmer & Sons Roofing sign and contact details! When people asked if I would recommend N Farmer & Sons, I said that we were very happy with our contractor, and if they liked what they saw on our roof, then they should certainly invite them to give a quotation when they needed to have some roof work done.

The man who came to repair our roof was very nice and did an excellent job of it. We had a right old natter and he even made me a cup of tea even though I offered which was very nice.
