Working with Dickson has been wonderful. We received new windows and siding on the 2nd floor of our home and we have received nothing but compliments on the work. Jim (the project manager) constantly checked in on the job and was available to answer questions when needed. The crew was professional and hardworking. The price was incredibly reasonable. We plan to use them again for the second phase of our exterior remodeling.
If you are looking for a premier top quality contractor for your door installation, look no further than Dickson. After repeated frustrating experiences with big box companies, we choose Dickson to install our front door. They were timely and very responsive. From project estimation, to product ordering, to installation, Dickson was first class. Their project manager (Jim) provided excellent guidance throughout the installation. It was evident from the installation that the Dickson carpenter (Adam) was a seasoned pro. The workmanship detail was excellent. We highly recommend Dickson Contractors and will not hesitate to use them again.
After a local roofer in Northbrook tried to get Allstate to replace my 12 year old roof from hail damage and a leak in one spot into my house. Allstate denied the claim and the roofer all of a sudden quoted me $3,500 to repair the roof without ever going in the roof. They also said they could not find the shingles in the needed color. I decided to call Dickson who sent Steve and he went into the roof (no one bothered to that). He carefully inspected the outside and inside and said that did not agree with the Roofer or Allstate adjuster. He quoted me $550 and we proceeded with the repair. Dickson should be proud of the way they conduct business and will certainly use and recommend them in the future. We have had not further problems and did not need to spend $12,000 to $13,000 to replace the roof. Thanks again! Larry Guthman- Northbrook
Dickson did our windows and a repair to our roof as well. Hands down, from start to finish they were spectacular to work with! Everyone did a fantastic job and were very cleanly and thorough!
