Recently I noticed singles on the points of my house were curling. I called 3 companies for estimates. Only one of the three who came to give an estimate actually got on the roof to check out the problem and do measurements. His name was Tony and he was from Roof Pro. He was very professional and totally explained what the issue with the roof was. He did not try to over sell with windows, siding, etc. as did another company. He gave me an immediate estimate (one company has yet to give me the estimate!) When I decided to contract Roof Pro to do the work - I went to the office to sign paperwork. There I found 2 very professional staff members. (Lila was very helpful). Tony came at the designated time and completely the job in a timely fashion. Clean up was excellent and I'm please with the final product and price for the repair! I highly recommend this company. Jo Anne
I was going to put this at the end but I want to make this point. Read up on roofing and learn what the different types of products there are. This will let you know who knows what they are doing and those who are just trying to make it through the day. Now on to the review... We developed a leak in our roof a couple weeks back. The roof was old and we were waiting on this to happen. We got estimates from 4 companies before deciding on who was going to replace the roof. After looking at all the estimates we decided to go with Roof Pro's. Some of the items they listed as normal other companies listed as optional. These items need to be done when roofing a home. An example is the Ice and Water barrier. They put it in the valleys and along the eves. Other estimates charged extra to put it in along the eves. They also were the only ones that use Polypropylene Synthetic Underlayment instead of the standard felt paper. I was told that if you do a roof with just the synthetic underlayment they can warranty it for 6 months for leaks. Do this with standard felt paper it will not last near that long before the wind blows it away. They also recommended a better ridge vent product instead of the standard Cobra style venting at very little additional cost. I looked into the the two products and they were correct. Plus the 10 year warranty. Some only offered a 5 year warranty. They were not the most expensive and were not the cheapest but we felt they were the highest quality choice. We signed a contract with them for the new roof. We asked them to do the install on a certain day of the week due to our work schedule. They did not hesitate and arranged for this to happen. They arrived on time the morning of the tear off and install. The first thing Tony did was to give me an overview of the work they were going to do. They started the job and I wanted to watch the entire process as I have only seen it in stages. They covered areas such as flower beds that would get the old shingles bits that would fall from the roof. The crew has been together for some time as they work very well as a team. A neighbor stopped by and watched them shingle a valley. He is an experienced roofer as he shingled his garage. He was telling me what he should do next. The roofer did everything he said should happen. He looked at me and said this guy knows how to roof. This confirmed we went with a quality contractor. They finished the job and cleaned up the site before leaving. My wife committed how well they did cleaning up her flower beds. This made my life easier. In the end they were the best choice to put on our new roof. The day after the job was completed and they are on to the next one we are still smiling.
