I would personally give TLC less than 1 star if I was able to... We began working with Chance Bohm from TLC Restoration in October of 2016. We signed a contract to begin the repairs of hail damaged home. He came out and met with the insurance claims rep. He then came out to our home an additional 3 times to bring color samples and review the claim. Then he disappeared and for well over a month I was unable to reach him at all. Finally in December I emailed the home office and got no response. I then called and asked to speak with the owner Donald Dew.... I was informed that Chance no longer worked for TLC. Low and behold, he had never even turned in our paperwork...so there was no record of our claim, or home, on file. I was given the option to continue to work with TLC and the owner himself would handle our claim. Donald Dew came out to our home and said he would be happy to continue to work with us and he would re-fax the claim/estimate to our adjuster for re-inspect. Given the time of the year I let things go...January rolled around and I emailed and left messages to get the repairs going...no response back. February zero response. March zero response as well. April we left a final message on phone and by text message and asked for a response by a specific date other wise we would take our business else where. Zero response again. So today April 21, 2017... I again contacted Donald Dew by phone and I informed him due to his lack of response and inability to return phone calls, messages, etc. My home has yet to be repaired and his response was very nonchalant and he didn't act like he even cared that his company has strung us along for months. that we are taking our business else where....to a company that wants to do the work and in a timely fashion. I do NOT recommend doing any form of business with this company at all!!!

We recently hired TLC Restoration after our home was damaged in a severe hail storm. They were very professional in every regard. The process was new and unfamiliar to us…a little overwhelming, since in addition to our insurance company, our mortgage company became involved too. Honest we weren’t exactly sure how to proceed, but thankfully TLC did. We discovered they provide an invaluable service by assuming the worry, confusion, and insurance woes, relieving us of those tedious and bothersome tasks. They explained how the overall process worked and took over the responsibilities of contacting the right contractors and best tradesmen, ordering materials and scheduling deliveries, pulling the proper permits, and coordinating all the repair schedules so that they meshed seamlessly. Our sales rep was great—inspecting our home for damage, contacting our insurance company to initiate a claim, accompanying the insurance inspector that came to our home, even climbing onto our roof to point out damaged areas, making follow-up calls as our advocate when the insurance company denied our initial claim, accompanying the second inspector that was dispatched, and supplying photos and documentation to ensure our claim was approved. Our sales rep provided a written estimate, discussed the repairs and materials that were to be used, possible upgrades, and out-of-pocket costs. The day arrived for them to come and in the span of 5 or 6 hours the old roof was removed and a new one took its place. Sadly, our sales rep left the company’s employ shortly after the roof was installed and before any of the other work could begin, so there was a vacuum in our repair schedule and the remainder of the work took a little more time to complete than it normally would, but to our amazement the company owner, Don Dew, took it upon himself to see that our home, as well as many others, was finished quickly, completely, and to our satisfaction. He personally visited us, discussed any problems that still existed, patiently listen to any complaints or concerns we had, and reviewed the repairs that remained, familiarizing himself with our project and assuring us things would be repaired rapidly and to our satisfaction. He stressed that over and over…are you happy with the job, is there anything you would like corrected, do you have any concerns? His goal was our complete satisfaction with the work and repairs that were made, which we found very refreshing. As far as the work goes, in addition to the roof, the gutters and downspouts were replaced. We were so pleased with the professionalism and workmanship we had witnessed so far, we decided to purchase aluminum trim for our house as well. On the day repairs were made, either our sales rep was present off-and-on, or Mr. Dew himself stopped by to make sure everything was progressing smoothly. However, their presence was hardly needed because they were efficient, methodical, friendly, meticulous, courteous, respectful of us and our property, and tidy, thoroughly cleaning up their work area upon completion. The roofers even used a magnet to pick up any nails that fell, combing my grass carefully to ensure they got every one. There was no alcohol consumed on the job, no foul language, nor was there loud music blaring from portable radios. There were a couple of issues when they had finished but they were fixed quickly, and to our satisfaction. Throughout the process we were impressed with everyone’s pleasant and cheerful attitude, and concern that we were satisfied with the job they were doing, and that was consistent all the way from the owner, Mr. Dew, down to the laborer hauling materials. The company mindset is to work quickly but do the job right, and watching them we could tell they took pride in their work. Mr. Dew appears to be taking the long view, building his company’s reputation based upon quality work, dependable service, honesty, great craftsmen, and customer satisfaction and referrals. I would highly recommend TLC Restoration to anyone who is looking for a new roof, gutters, etc.
