Kovalick roofing and siding really knows what they're doing. Jim has many years of experience, and this is displayed through excellent craftsmanship and dedication to the job at hand. The work that was done on my roof was completed in a timely manner and done well. The crew was experienced and respectful of our landscaping and made sure to minimize damage done when possible. The price for the job was fair for the size of our roof, and after a few years now, it still looks brand new. The best feature that was installed was the ridge vent that had significantly lowered the temperature in the upstairs bedroom in the summer. Overall, I would rate this 10/10.

Jim did a fabulous job troubleshooting and siding my home. He returned calls, gave a good estimate and completed the job timely! Thanks Jim!

Kovalick did a great job replacing our roof on our 1955 ranch house. They understand the importance of having a properly ventilated roof and did a thorough job from estimate to completion. The quote was reasonable and the crew were nice and on-time. I’d recommend them for your roofing needs!

I got quotes from four different companies. Jim Kovalick, the owner, is the guy who will show up and give you the quote. Of the four people that provided quotes, Jim was the only one to look in the attic and identify issues. Jim's quote wasn't the lowest (nor the highest), but the lowest quote was using cheaper materials. Because I plan on staying in my house, Jim recommended the best materials. Jim has his own crew, and only one crew. He personally works on all the jobs himself alongside with his crew. He's not a quote and sub-contract guy, he'll be in the trenches, putting down shingles. Jim told me it was going to be a three day job, but he and his crew was able to finish early; it only took two days. He had to replace more plywood than what was included in the quote (he was very upfront about this while giving the quote). His charges for the extra plywood were very low, perhaps at cost. When all was said and done he was within $200 bucks of the original quote. Jim's roofing job also fixed all the ventilation issues in my attic by installing ridge vents, additional soffit vents, closing off the gables, and installing baffles in my attic that had none. When the job was done, the crew did an outstanding clean up job. There were barely any signs that our roof had been done, other than a new roof on top of my house. His crew went around my house several times with a big magnet to pick up any small metal debris. Jim does an outstanding job of picking good people and enforcing high standards on them. This roof was the largest check I've ever written in my life, but it felt great to be able to do so with no regrets or second thoughts. Jim's a great guy, money well spent.
