They do pretty decent work but like with any contractor don't pay them the full amount right away. I had a really good experience the first time I worked with them so I thought " Ya know, maybe not all contractors aren't snakes in the grass. I can trust him". First he quoted me this time around $14,000 when all the other contractors I asked the highest was 11,200. He tried to say it is a quality thing. Well I was like yeah but for that much...didn't really seem to add up. He then magically came down to 11,800 because of rebates which was still more than the competition but to sweeten the pot he said " as a favor " he would help fix a shed that was on the property. Alright for that I supposed that is cheaper than buying a new shed....well roof got done on time and he worked with me on a completion date because I was waiting to get paid for my previous house I just sold...shed never did. My fault for paying him the full amount before job was done. Honestly that was a really big bummer because it just made me realize should have listened to my friends and family. Also the communication sucks! big time. I had to wait weeks in between communications mainly because I had to keep prompting like "Hey...so whats going on? We going to get this done yet" "Yep call you tomorrow", "Call you tonight" in a text and rarely did he return the call. Honestly I am a really patient person who rarely leaves negative reviews but this last conversation I don't want anyone to be in the same boat. He was super rude about it. BTW it should have been done in OCT. it is Now almost end of Dec and we still haven't even gotten a date. So moral of the story....work seems good which is why they get three stars, customer service sucks mainly because they are terrible at managing communications and also giving you a timeline, don't pay the full amount up front until all the work is done. Would I use this company again. No. There are too many other contractors that do good work to be dealing with this headache. Would I recommend to friends, maybe if the price was right but don't ever, EVER just get one quote. You gotta keep all these contractors honest unfortunately ( he is not a unique case ), especially if your a woman men tend to think we don't know any better. Well I will be honest I learned some really valuable lessons with this and I hope I can prevent others from making the same mistake.
