Kevin came over - rude - wanted all the monies the insurance company would give and promised he could get it, after they installed the roof. My insurance company says that is not the way they operate and Kevin does not know how insurance companies work. Kevin wanted me to submit a bill to the insurance company for $5,000 more than the roof costs and he said he can get it because he knows how insurance companies work. Final answer - he never would have been able to do that because the additional monies I received from the insurance company are for other repairs - not the roof. And the monies are only given after the other repairs are completed and invoices submitted. He would not give me a written estimate for the work A & K would do. Kevin changed the specs of my roof which would, again, not have worked with the insurance company. The same type of roof and material must be used. Kevin wanted to lie to the insurance company that the work was completed per specs. There are other ways of doing business A & K and there are other roofers.

They try and get you to submit inflated insurance claims to your insurance company so that they can get more money for their repairs. So your research, this is participating in insurance fraud. They have other customers that have mentioned the same thing.

Best roofing company I have ever dealt with. Not sure if policies changed but they have never tried to defraud insurance when I have worked with them .

Fast roof repair

I had the worse wind and hail damage you can imagine and I chose A&K Roofing to help me. Kevin came out first and did an assessment and two days later his crew was here fixing everything. I had several baseball sized damages to my siding as well. They fixed that too. My house is now as beautiful outside as it was when I moved here. The price was more than reasonable and the job was completed as agreed. No complaints here, just a satisfied customer.
