this company did a roof on a rancher of mine several years ago - first home, young couple. in just a few years i had severe rotting due to lack of proper installation. totally rotted fascias, rotted walls, rotted joists, rotted plywood and various leaks. they caulked all over the place where they should have used flashing, they didn't use drip edges, the staggering was completely wrong and they went over the old roof, effectively voiding the warranty of the long term warranty shingles they sold us. of course when you look them up and see complaints, the owner responds that he, or his LLC, at least, is out of business and can't help with any warranties on the work. terrible ordeal, though i wish i had some sort of recourse with this guy, i'm actually glad he's out of business if he actually is, because then nobody else will have to deal with this nonsense.
