Poor Communication. Tried getting a simple quote and time estimate from the guy and was met with TONS of attitude. If you like dealing with someone difficult this is your guy.

Dave at Troost Roofing was absolutely fantastic! I called around to roofing companies in the area when I thought I had a leak somewhere near a short valley in our roof. Dave walked me through a number of things, patiently asking questions, until we figured out the problem was one of condensation building up inside an attic space. He had me text a number of pictures inside and outside the space. Without even being here, Dave was able to get me pinpointed to exactly where the problem was, and he wasn't even condescending about my ignorance or what turned out to be my own stupidity in figuring out the problem - a bathroom vent pipe that had become detached. It turned out I had been venting warm, moist air directly in the attic space. So after a laborious process suiting up in protective gear (tyvek, respirator, goggles, gloves), cleaning up mold, and cleaning out and replacing some wet insulation, we're good to go. Thank you, Dave, for being a consummate professional. If you all are this good on a job you're not even getting paid for, I would trust you all in a heartbeat for a real roofing job if I ever need it.
