Fantastic customer experience. Great attention to detail. A job well, which is a rarity these days. Working with Vince and his team was an excellent experience. Siding crew and painting crew have been at Southwest for over 30 years and 20 years respectively. Very competitive pricing. Stayed on schedule and on budget and am highly satisfied with the results. Looks like a new house.

WARNING ! WARNING ! WARNING ! Some of the people this company hires are NOT bonded or insured. I found out the hard way. My wife and I are now both disabled and we are very poor because our many medical bills. A few years ago the contract labor truck driver that Southwester Roofing employed, backed over the front of our only car with their flatbed truck loaded with lumber, crushing it down onto the frame. The driver then started to drive off, but I got out of my care and stood in front of his truck to stop him because he didn't understand English when I told him what he did. The contract laborer's foreman (his name was Fermin) showed up a short time later and offered me some cash to forget the wreck. I declined. He then promised that his boss, the owner of Southwestern Roofing, would take care of everything, but asked me not to call the police. (My mistake was believing him. ALWAYS CALL THE POLICE and get a report made.) The driver of the flatbed truck had no Texas Drivers License (only a green card), spoke no English, and I was later told they had no insurance because this contract labor company had so many wrecks that the insurance company would no longer insure them. Since the driver was under contract with Southwestern Roofing, I contacted Southwestern Roofing and spoke to the owner. I then met with the owner who said all he would do is put a used hood on our car, and a friend of his would paint it, and nothing more...but there was far more damage to the car...and I had estimates to prove it. He said, "I'm not going to let you cheat my foreman." I assume he was talking about Fermin. His next response was that I should take his offer or, "you will have to deal with a MEXICAN." I then went a second time to his company to talk to him and this time noticed a Christian fish symbol on the front door. What a joke! The owner was not available, but when I told one of his employees they should scrape that fish off the front door, I was told all about the "good Christian man" he was and how he donated $16,000 to the church. Well Vince, we all die and one day, and when you do, be sure to remind God about that $16,000 you bragged to your employee about donating and see if that is enough to buy your way into heaven. By the way, God may ask you about that poor couple who's car you were responsible for repairing and who you offered little more than a racist comment in response. I had totally put the memory of you out of my mind until my roof was damaged and I was attempting to figure out a way to afford to fix it and was Google searching for roofing quotes and saw Southwestern Roofing. I had long ago thought about protesting with a sign out in front of your store, but I am too busy trying to earn enough to keep medical bills and insurance paid so I can keep my wife alive. I was never able to repair my car, but years later God provided someone who was nice enough to give us a used vehicle. James G., Houston, Texas

Southwest Roofing just replaced the roof on my house and garage. They were very easy to deal with and did a great job as well and left my house and yard clean and free of debris. Strongly recommend.

4 weeks ago, I called Southwestern Roofing, for a minor shingle repair. I was referred to a man named Gary, who was the overseer of our homes roof installation, 17 yrs ago. We were not the owners then, but the owners recommended this company. I scheduled an appointment that day to have Gary come take a look at the roof that week. He was a no show. So, I called him to find out when he'd be able to come, since he missed his appointment. We scheduled something for the next week. No show, again. He had come down with something. And, apparently was too sick to call or have someone in the main office call to let me know. So, we rescheduled again for the following week (Tuesday). Of course, he didn't show then either, nor did he call, but he came by on Wednesday, unannounced. He took a look at our broken shingles and said he would have his guy check the whole roof while he was at it. Great! A couple days later, his guy showed up, and could barely understand English. I showed him the broken shingle and he replaced it and also sealed the vents for us. His 2 tubes of sealant were left in our front yard for us to pick up. Plus, the shingles he replaced were the wrong color. Our roof is brown and he put gray shingles on... I called Gary immediately. His response was that he would call his guy and then call me back. Did he call me back? Of course not. I called him the next day. And of course, ready with another excuse, he didn't call me back because he had plumbing issues that night. Fine. Whatever. At this point, I feel like such an idiot for even allowing this company to do such a small job, it makes my stomach hurt. Fortunately, our HOA is being quite understanding and patient, while I patiently wait for Southwestern Roofing, to fix the wrong colored shingles. I have also spoken with the owner of this company, Vincent Place. His response to all of this was... I am sorry, there's really nothing more that I can do, Gary said he'd be out tomorrow to fix it. Click. Yes, he hung up on me. I can't imagine hiring this company to do anything for me or my house EVER again. And that's unfortunate, because in 3 years we will need a new roof and they will not get our business. I don't want to hire a company that I have to continue following up with and cleaning up after. My husband could have bought a box of shingles from Lowes for $50 and repaired this himself, but he is overseas, and I wanted to do something nice for him, so that when he comes home, these small tedious tasks around the house are finished. Today is October 10th.... We will see if the roofer comes out tomorrow.
