Nations Choice did an excellent install of our gutters and covering of our wood trim with matching aluminum - no painting or wood replacement ever! They were patient with the many questions we had and took care of specific problems areas that had rotten wood before starting. Very quick and did a very thorough clean up. Well done!
Several weeks ago, I got an interesting email from Nations Choice (formerly Transnational Corp). The email asked me to leave a review of my experience on Google Reviews. I had a very bad experience with this company before they changed their name from Transnational Corp. to Nations Choice, and wasn’t planning to leave a review, but since they specifically wrote me to ask for my review, here goes. I will never use this company again and in my opinion, you can make a much better choice. Though it’s a very long and complicated story, I will boil it down to just a few paragraphs. I hired the company to do about $30K worth of work. At the end of the job, I paid 95% of what I owed. I simply withheld a small amount until some punch list items were completed; certainly a reasonable approach. Rather than complete the punch list items, which included what I believed to be an unacceptably wide gap in my siding and the fact that they installed a window that was already broken (the vinyl, not the glass), they never addressed these items. Instead, he filed a lawsuit against me. And, yes, he won the lawsuit. However, that had more to do with my making the poor decision to represent myself and the fact that I know nothing about evidentiary procedure, then it had to do with the company being right. I think those reading this review would agree that if a window was installed broken, it should be replaced; the same holds true for the wide gap in the siding. It’s worth pointing out, that in court, his lawyer advised him to replace the broken window, but that has never happened. So there you go. In my opinion, if you use this company, you’re taking a big chance that you will ever have the job done to your satisfaction. Finally, after the job, I picked up dozens and dozens of nails off of my lawn. While I don’t think this was done intentionally, in my opinion, you should be aware of this if your kids play in your yard. Curiously, I now get solicitation calls from the company wanting to sell me additional services.
Nations Windows did an excellent job in standing behind their product and its warranty. I recommend them highly. They installed a number of windows in my house doing an excellent install job. when we saw that the seal had leaked on two windows, I contacted John Kim and he worked with the manufacturer to get replacement windows at no cost for the new windows or for the installation. A job very well done all around!!
The whole experience was positive. The price was reasonable. The staff was flexible. Emmanuel did a great job explaining the process to us. Nick's scheduling worked out fine. What they said would happen happened at the time they said it would happen. At the last minute I asked the company to add a fan and they did this happily. What impressed me the most is when you call Nations Choice a real live human being answers the phone and answers your questions even after business hours. Having a real person answer the phone during business hours is rare, and having someone respond after business hours is a true miracle. Customer service can't be beat. You can tell John the owner cares.
They replaced nearly 39 windows in my home. Some were very large windows and needed special support in the windows. J was very kind and worked very hard for 2 days. One window was above my front door and it was a large special window. They had to set special safety equipment to install. Great work! They are like busy working bees!
