I instructed Ridgeline roofing to replace a roof at the back of my property. The quote was £2.750. On completion, the roof was leaking more than before the replacement. They came back a few times and fiddled around, but still the leak. We instructed a chartered surveyor and another roofer to check their work out and it was discovered,in a feeble attempt to cover up their shoddy workmanship, unbelievably, that they had covered the new slate roof 90% in roofing felt, and that the roof needs total replacement. I have called, emailed but they have not responded. I have contacted Checkatrade, where I unfortunately found them but still no communication. Checkatrade by the way is useless, turns out Ridgeline Roofing are not under the roofers federation. I had some notion that the workers on this site were bona fide, but they are all not. Trading standards have been informed and a registered letter has been sent to their address. A warning to all avoid Ridgeline roofing, 24 cowley drive. I am a small independent business and can ill afford the cost of replacement. I cannot stress enough avoid ridgeline roofing Stuart Grice and Shaun Clarke. My next step is to inform the Argus so this situation does not happen to anyone else.
