Annoying nuisance calls from this company operating from a withheld number, despite being registered with TPS. The most senior member of staff available (Sarah), claimed to have no responsibility within the company and was unable to explain why they are breaking current UK law regarding nuisance telephone calls and sourcing of database numbers. Never received a call back as promised to provide details required under the DATA PROTECTION ACT (1998). Further extremely RUDE telephone conversations with Marketing Manager Craig "who is not paid" to deal with customers complaints and is VERY aggressive on the telephone and reluctant to deal with any problems created by this company. Craig repeatedly slammed the phone down during our conversation which was recorded for prosperity! At one stage claimed to have dropped the phone after picking the receiver back up and realising I was still on the line! Proceeded to shout down the phone at me to say that all their numbers are cross referenced against TPS database. I had already sourced their database to an online data provider called ADMAR and he was not best pleased when I mentioned this to him as he had been 'caught out' lying. ADMAR provide the data with the express terms and conditions that it is NOT USE FOR TELE_MARKETING, Craig (RoofRight) has no understanding or compliance with the UK law and no respect whether the company of which he claims to be the top representative is working within the UK law or not. ONLY INTERESTED IN YOUR MONEY - wouldn't risk the chance to see if there hard sell philosophy / zero customer service follows through to paying customers !
