I found the sales person very friendly, helpful and knowledgable, and not pushy in the slightest. The guys that fitted the door were also very nice and a pleasure to have work around my home. I am extremely pleased with the garage door and the job they done. Would definitely recommend.

Great Company

My low cost roller door installation was very successful. Everything went smoothly. Ace were not pushy, and the most professional of the potential suppliers when it came to measuring up and quoting. There are clearly some very strange individuals installing replacement garage doors. Ace are not n that category. I asked for a local reference or two, and unlike others who came to quote they actually provided a local customer. We visited and were very any with what we saw. Nor did they immediately hae their hand out for money. It was installed in a colour of our choice with nothing at all to pay until it was all installed to my satisfaction. Very reassuring after the trail of cowboys and Pikeys looking for a quick buck. These are budget doors. They are well made rollers, with powder coated insulated slats. They should last well imho. The motors are Chinese. Hence the price. However, there is a long warranty on the motors if they go wrong. The doors aren't quite as quick as my last Hörman, but are OK. The lack of auto safety add-ons on closing the door means that although it is just one push to open, it is press and hold to close. This is the law. Some budget installers were not too careful about meeting safety legislation. So, a good value door, it's not a Hörman, which I grant you is the best that you can buy. But it is a very effective door which was much less than half the price of the German door. We saved literally thousands of pounds compared to the cost of the German door.
