My wife and I were looking for estimates on our roof. Most companies won't give an estimate unless you sign a contract. Dog Tags gave us an estimate and encouraged us to get another estimate or two! We needed to have some repairs done to the roof on our home. We were worried about how much it would cost or hiring the “wrong” people to do the work. We’ve all heard horror stories about cheap, fly by night companies doing shoddy work and leaving more problems than they started with. Several friends suggested we call Dog Tags Construction. We placed the call and it ended up being our only call. I was impressed with them in every step of the process. The assessment was quick and thorough and it was determined that in addition to replacing the shingles, we had to replace several of the plywood panels underneath. The price we were quoted was within my expectations and anyone I talked to about it agreed that it was a great deal. Timing and schedules tend to be very loose in the construction world but I was totally impressed that they met every start time and deadline that was agreed upon. In fact, we had a snowstorm a few days before they were scheduled to start the job so rather than reschedule or delay, they sent a couple of guys to come over to shovel the snow off the roof! They started the job on time and finished it in one day without any of the ”we have to do this too and it will cost you more” BS. Best of all, they didn’t leave a mess behind. They dropped a roof full of shingles and several plywood panels without damaging any of our shrubs or plants and they cleaned up every scrap of wood, nail and shingle that came off the roof (ok, I did find one nail but that was it). We have had a couple bouts of heavy rain in the weeks since and we have had no leaks or any reason to call them back for follow up work. A quality job was done on time for a great price and it looks great! We have had several compliments already! In short, we would recommend Dog Tags Construction to anyone who has construction needs and they will be our first call if we ever need more work done.
