I would rate this less stars but unfortunately I cannot. Let me stress 1 star doesn't even begin to explain the hell that is dealing with this poor excuse of a contractor. Save yourself money, time, and frustration. Jesse Almari and EnerG shield is the most unprofessional, incompetent, and yet somehow arrogant persona I've ever had the displeasure of working with. He rarely supervised any of the work done. Whatever work is done, is done poorly and he knows it. He attempts to weasel his way out of responsibility and cannot fix his mistakes. During a house remodel which was quoted to take 5 weeks and extended until 12 weeks, he failed to gather a competent crew that is familiar with the work done. Countless errors, including failing to provide a level floor after putting in new hardwood, still exist in the house after he said he would fix them. Even when he brought people to clean for "move-in service" they just brought some paper towels and one spray bottle. Furniture that should've been packed an wrapped to avoid damage was just thrown into a storage container. This led to torn couches, scratched and broken tables. In addition to several stolen items worth total hundreds of dollars. The worst part is, he enters your home with such arrogance, like he can make no mistake and refuses to acknowledge the poor quality of his work. As I understand it he is currently facing a lawsuit from at least one party for his work. Bottom line, Jesse Almari may seem like the cheap option, but he will cheap out on you. Do not hire him, you will regret it.
