Quick to fix an issue and go beyond the basic to ensure happy customers

Zero star!!! I had a roof put on 8 MONTHS AGO. Money is very hard for me to come by. I trusted the owners words and interviewed several roofers. They did come out quickly and did a QUICK JOB. Bypassing holes in the plywood (and never mentioned it) and putting shingles over it. The owner NEVER supervised the job. HE DID showed up to collect HIS money in full. He said the holes happened in the plywood after the shingles/ job was completed 8 months ago??? Owner did say he would fix the problem IF I PAID HIM!!! Listen.....he promises a 3 year warranty on labor WHICH MEANS NOTHING for YOU!! He will put shingles ON YOUR ROOF but if you're not watching EVERY step of his workers......You'll get TAKEN like me!! And....they didn't leave ONE single shingle....NOT ONE. They said they "used them all." Zero left??? Watch what you pay for. Btw: They did leave plenty of nails/tacks in my yard and driveway! ........ Bad business!!!

Quality craftsmen but require supervision to prevent short cutting. I contracted A-1 to install a torched down roof on my house. The materials are expensive, but are built to last. A-1 was the lowest bid, but missed their measurements for materials. They did not report the issue and left ~2 squares of my roof un-replaced. When confronted they were very argumentative and difficult to work with. I agreed to pay extra to come back and finish the job, but again they ran short of materials and didn’t finish two small sections. I will be replacing the remaining ~50SF of roof myself. The issue was most likely due to a miscommunication of scope. The incremental cost of additional work is not an issue, however the way A-1 handled the confrontation was very unprofessional.

Performed an excellent job on my house. Also left the yard clean of roofing materials.
