I just had my second roofing job completed by Russell Pajestka Roofing and I am completely satisfied with the workmanship, the bid price and in all my dealings with the staff and the owner. They have now reroofed my primary residence and a farm house I also own. The roofing advice I received was excellent in helping me decide my roofing options. Mr. Pajestka and his staff went above and beyond all of my expectations.
Good learning environment and experience.
I entered a contract for roof repairs with the Russell Pajestka Co. on March 26th, 2013. The work was completed and he was paid in in full ($10,000) on April 17th, 2013. It rained within a few days of the work being completed, and the roof leaked badly. Mr. Pajestka and a worker returned and applied some caulking which did no good. Later, a worker returned on a Sunday afternoon with a caulking gun and no ladder. He borrowed my ladder, applied more caulking and was gone in 20 minutes. On June 10th, after more bad weather, I called to report that the roof was still leaking badly and was given a different phone number. I called this number on June 12th, June 18th, July 2nd, July 8th, July 15th, July 22nd and July 29th. None of the calls were returned. I emailed Mr. Pajestka on August 13th, August 21st and August 30th telling him the roof was leaking badly and that I was concerned about structural damage. -- none of the emails were answered. On September 18th, I sent Mr. Pajestka a certified letter with no response. On October 1st, I sent a 2nd certified letter tasking Mr. Pajestka to respond or I would take the matter to court. I received no response. I filed suit and the case was heard on December 17th, 2013, where I was awarded a judgement against the Pajestka Company. Mr. Pajestka's only defense was a xerox copy of the contract which had obviously been altered after my signing. Luckily, I had a copy of the original contract. On December 31st, I obtained an Abstract of Judgement against the Pajestka Company and filed it with the Bell County Court. I now hold a lien against the company. If you do any business at all with this company, I greatly recommend that you do so with extreme caution. Even after my legal dealings with Mr. Pajestka, I still have had no response.
