My company routinely buys our shingles from ABC Supply or Home Depot. Tried Southern Shingles out in Wylie today. The shingle we bought today costs me 32 and change from Home Depot, but we have to wait on them to come in. The shingle costs me 33.73 at ABC-- I called and verified my price with them, to make sure it hadn't gone up since the last time we bought. Today, Southern Shingles wanted 35.50. My guys paid it, but when I found out what we were charged, I had him go back in, and have them make it right. Reluctant to lower their price, he was asked, "why didn't you go to ABC then"? Southern Shingles: Please train your people on how to deal with customers who spend hundreds of thousands a year on building materials. 3 stars for making it right, and matching the ABC price.
