The guys over at Donnie Wood Roofing have been Great. They recently did a roof for us and we couldn't be happier. They started the roof on a Wednesday and had everything wrapped up in 3 days. Very clean and protected all of our landscaping around the house. Would highly recommend Donnie Roofing.

We made the mistake of hiring Donnie Wood Roofing on a recommendation of a friend. We signed contract. Mr. Wood said they were "4 weeks out" and would start 4 weeks from signed date. 2 months went by with no word. I called, he said "who is this?" I told him who i was and asked when they were going to start on my roof. " I got an excuse of " I lost my phone in East Texas that had all my contacts and calendar". BS all smart phones sync to cloud whether Iphone or android and is restored when you sign into your new phone automatically. I tried switching to new roofer but was told I already have a signed contract with another roofer. I had a leak by the chimney from hail damage. and said roof replacement would fix it, It did not. He asked to put all the damaged items in a quote to insurance so all gets fixed at same time. He quoted them Chimney recover, air conditioning compressor fins unbent. Insurance denied the chimney as he wrote Rot and not hail damage. Donnie Wood roofing did not even see original Chimney as it was replaced before they were even hired costing me $385.00 in materials and more in labor. The air conditioning compressor fins are still bent as nothing was done to them. on the 6th trip his " Fireman" as he likes to call him placed a 5 gallon bucket in my attic under the leak and said it was fixed. we believed him as small rain storms came through with no leaks, then it rained for 3 days straight and bucket overflowed causing major water damage on ceiling by chimney. During that same visit. I had locked up the house and was waiting for him to finish so I could leave for an appointment, (attic access in garage) He finished and we left. When I got home I noticed attic insulation all over my TV and Living room where He stepped through ceiling by chimney. And swears he did not., The roof vents were not installed properly and leaked over my hot water heater in the garage closet rusting out the hot water heater and needed replaced. and other vent over roof area of guest bathroom caused leak between exterior wall and shower causing mold, drywall soaking and rotting and all tiles to fall off guest shower.1 1/2 years it took them to finally fix the leak. I had to make a claim with my insurance for the repair to the bathroom and the insurance adjuster and inspector took pictures and have compiled a report of the damage and how it happened. I am out another $1000.00 deductible because of his horrible workmanship and quality of job skills. They NEVER have met an appointment on time, normally 4 hours late without call and up to 1 week late with daily calls with no response. RUN from this Company, RUN Fast!! Unless you like Lies, excuses , denial, poor quality work, waiting for people to never show up and your roof to still be leaking after the roof is replaced. Do not hire this company.
