Recently installed the louvered roof patio system. The price is a little more expensive than I expected but it is worth every penny of it. I am very happy with the product. In addition, their team especially Jim and John really handled any concerns of mine very professionally. I had a great experience with them. I will definitely recommend this company to all of my friends.

I had one of these louvered roofs installed last year. The roof looks nice and the idea of automated louvres is a good one. However, I found the company to be unresponsive and the product defective. The sales person who I first dealt with knew next to nothing about the product. I got bad advice on lighting and heating but ordered anyway. I had a crew working on my yard remodel so timing was quite important which I checked when I ordered, unfortunately the order took a lot longer than quoted which had expensive knock on effects on the timing and cost of the rest of my project. I also legally needed planning permission to erect the roof. Arcadia couldn’t produce any off the shelf engineering drawings so I ended up having to pay a lot of money to an engineer to do them. The Arcadia team were slow to respond and not very helpful when it came to getting what I needed to secure planning permission and seemed incredulous that I would go through the process of having the roof erected legally at all. In the end the roof was built. However, for the past year the roof’s louvres have not opened and closed reliably with their app. It uses bluetooth and basically doesn’t work. I have emailed and called the company about it but they have offered no solution. I am basically stuck with an expensive roof with louvres that are stuck to closed which we hardly use because the one heater doesn’t provide enough heat to keep us warm in the evening.
