Horrible service. We had roofing work done and this company working in conjunction with Losh Contracting have been the worst to deal with. They do not return phone calls, provide information on the cost of the job. All they want to do is take the insurance money and run. If I could give them a zero I would. Going to the insurance commissioner next to attempt to get some resolution. Stay away from these people, fraudulent processes and people who work for them.
Genesis has always followed through on their commitments. Great resource for contractors.
BUYER BEWARE! Our experience with this company was harmful to our fledgling business. 1) Erroneous funding - in which Genesis charged US a 10% funding fee and $50 wire transfer fee for their error in funding 2) Swept $2K out of our account during slow winter season to recover the erroneous funding without speaking with us to attempt to explain or work out repayment 3) Submitted around a $70K supplement, that we did not endorse, to a major insurance carrier which damaged our company's reputation. This caused us to spend time repairing the damage and cost us several thousand in reduced supplement funding. 4) Then charged 12% supplement fee on that damaged our supplement proceeds 5) during collections process, took about a month to get the actual breakdown of dollar amounts and understanding of the charges for specific items, then pressured to pay immediately due to the delay in process 6) Genesis made absolutely no concession in fees and charges even after our good faith payment of over $3K during very slow winter. We took full responsibility for our part in signing the papers in the first place, obligating ourselves to such a company, not fully understanding what the representatives were explaining and trusting what we were told by the company. This experience caused an amazing amount of stress, challenges and money to our new company. We hope to never to make this mistake again. Hopefully this will help others to avoid this pitfall as well.
