Myself and my husband can thoroughly recommend Emma, who designed the interior for our new extension comprising of new kitchen, dining area, lounge and music area. When Emma took on the project it was in the middle of the build and at that point we couldn’t imagine living in the house again, yet Emma saw past the rubble and using the architect’s floorplans, helped us visualise the transformation into our new family home. She surprised us with a mood board comprising colour schemes we would never have chosen yet are big, bold and beautiful! She suggested alterations to the architect’s plans, making the kitchen smaller to create a bigger dining area and merging two separate bi-folding doors into one that runs the full length of the house. We would not have risked these huge changes had she not been so confident, yet in hindsight we can see that would have been a mistake. On her way out of the door one day I asked Emma what colour rug she would put in our living room, in less than a minute she offered her opinion and the transformation in that room is quite huge considering it’s just a rug! She has a real eye for design and colour. Without Emma we would have had a neutral result, whereas her designs really have the wow factor!
