Left 3 messages for Bob over the course of 3 weeks. No return call. I have used this company 2 times in the past and had great service. This time not even close. When I called today and I complained about not getting a return call.... the guy told me I'm more then welcome to call someone else. Hope the owner reads this...
Fox Brothers is great. Their Roofing specialist Bill is the best. If you need any building materials, such as roofing, siding, windows, any of that stuff, and your in the Howell area, your silly if you don't go there. They always treat me with respect and make sure I have everything I need. They are the bees knees.
Great place and very knowledgeable
Fast Service & Great value!
Fox Brothers installed the siding on our new home in 2005. Last month we had to replace all of the wooden trim on the exterior, the Tyvek wrap under the trim, and the OSB wood under the Tyvek wrap due to the improper installation of the Z-flashing. The Z-flashing wasn't installed with any type of end dam which caused water to pour behind the exterior wood. I called Fox Brothers and spoke to Bob at the Hartland location who is apparently a service manager. He made several excuses including "that's industry standard...we don't get paid a lot to do these new construction jobs....it's the builders fault the house wasn't wrapped better..it's hard to get good workers to do the job, etc., etc. My next door neighbor just paid $5,500 to have the same thing repaired on his home where the aluminum trim wasn't installed properly. Two independent repair contractors have told us that Fox Brothers did not install the Z-flashing properly which caused extensive water damage. In the end, Bob shrugged his shoulders and said "well, your house is 12 years old, there is nothing we can do for you." See the attached photos. All the rotting starts right where the end dams on the Z-flashing are missing.
