Alert ! Alert ! Alert ! Alert ! Alert ! Alert ! Alert ! Alert ! Please do not do any project with this company, they replaced my roof after the last hurricane season and now I am having several leaks, I call them but they do not want to fix the issue, they are asking for extra money to repair the leaks since they said they are not the original managers. The contract they gave me is void, they never opened a permission with the orange county for the approval of this project, thus the entire project is void. The name of the fraudulent person is Gustavo (manager) and Marcos (the person doing the projects). Be careful I do not want other persons to be robbed by this company. Look the reviews here for this company there is more people complaining about them. More people in the same neighborhood is having the same problem Share this information with your neighbors, I am alerting my HOA as well for this company and asking my friends and coworkers to distribute this information. Please do not be ripped off by this horrible persons, do not trash your money. I had to put one start here otherwise google do not let me to save this message, otherwise i should not put any one. >>> Note: They do not have a web site.
BUYER BEWARE!!!! FIND SOMEONE ELSE TO DO YOUR ROOF. If I could have rated this company a negative star rating I would have. They do not deserve to be in business if they cannot do the job right the first time and/or fix the issues they caused in the process. From start to finish and even after that, my experience with this company was terrible. I know it is long, but I will outline below all the issues we had throughout the whole process. 1. Ordered one of the available colors for the shingles, received something completely different and I was the one who pointed it out to them instead of them telling me they made a mistake. I had to pull out the contract we signed just to prove to them it was wrong. 2. During removal of our existing shingles, and installation of the new shingles debris and nails were left all around the house with minimal clean up afterwards. I personally had to walk around with the contractor and pick up debris with them. 3. On one of the angles of the roof, the line was so crooked my neighbor could notice it from his house 3 doors down and then I had to once again convince them to redo it. 4. DAMAGES, DAMAGES, DAMAGES....The trim of the house was damaged in several areas, the stucco was damaged in a couple areas, and the ceiling inside my house now has water damage from water getting in through the skylight which was improperly sealed (more on that below). 5. Communication was impossible. Before, during and after the job was done, I had to be the one to reach out and most of the time there was no answer, or promises to call back but never actually called back 6. The water damage to the ceiling deserves its own number because it was the cherry on top to the whole thing. One rainy day post installation I noticed there was water dripping from one of the light fixtures, I immediately called the company and was asked to send pictures. They came out days later and could not find any leaks and told me to call again if it happens again. A few days later it rained again and the leak was back. I couldn't wait for them to come and not be able to find the leak so I personally went into the attic and found where the water leak was coming from and took pictures and videos. After sending them the video the came out a few days later and "fixed the issue"...... The next good rain came about a month later and I noticed a lager spot of water starting to outline my ceiling and coming through the fixture AGAIN! I immediately went to the attic again and dried up as much water as I could and found there was now more water coming through in different places. I again took videos and pictures to send to the owner. I called the owner the next day to tell him the leak was back and now worse than before. It took 2 weeks of calling for the owner to send someone to the house to fix the leak again. Without notice someone showed up at my door and thankfully my neighbor was home to assist with giving the guy access to my attic and roof, but no one ever called to let me know he was coming. By the time I got home (about an hour later) he was gone. I've made several attempts to reach the owner again, but he does not return any of my calls and its been months now and I still have water damage on my ceiling. Do yourself a HUGE favor and find someone else to do your roof. You will save yourself time, money and frustration.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! No matter how desperate you are, they are horrible, we inherited them from the previous owners, there was storm damage from when they owned it, they escrowed us the money with the estimate and agreement from Olympic. We have a bi-level house w/ 2 flat roofs, they were only supposed to fix the one, we woke up to find that they had both roofs torn off, and then tried to get us to pay for the 2nd roof (That there was nothing wrong with) we agreed to pay for the materials, They finished the roof. did a horrible job replacing the siding they had to remove. that night, it rained, both roofs leaked like crazy, they came out, and put that black tar stuff all over and made a huge mess. that held up for a couple months, then it began to leak again. They came out and put an elastomeric coating over the whole roof, and told us that was the best that they could do. as you can see from the pics, that coating peeled up (Badly), when the roof began to leak again, a year had passed, a named hurricane had come thru our county, which we had no damage from, when we called to report the new leaking to Olympic, they refused to do anything, saying that since a named storm came thru our area, their warranty was no longer in effect. We tried to go after their ins co for bad workmanship, and they are not insured for that, so we had to go after them for interior damage. That helped with the price of a new roof a little. keep in mind, that this all happened within 2 years. another thing, when the ins company awarded us the money, Olympic, had a 5K self ins portion, that they refused to pay, we got very lucky, and the ins company decided to give us the money anyway. I'm sure they will probably be dropping them. The estimates to repair their mess were between 17K and 22K. so what I am saying is , unless you enjoy roof leaks, and a lot of aggravation, avoid this company like the plague!
We had our roof done by Olympic Roofing and they did a great job! Miriam Rivera was the representative and she was in top of the whole process from the beginning to the end. She was available to answer any questions and she made sure everything was as per we order. I recommended them to my dad and they are in the process of doing their roof replacement also. Thank you Miriam!
We had damage to our roof during the last hurricane. We had 8 estimates and really didn’t trust any of the companies. The neighbor said he received a fair bid from Michael at Olympic Roofing. I called and Michael was out the same week, provided an estimate of cost, estimated date of roof repair and assured us that if any items not covered on the insurance quote needed repair, he would file for it himself with the insurance company on our behalf. Michael provided me his phone number. Michael ensured the shingles were as ordered, the repair was done, inspected and warranty completed. The insurance company missed the solar panel issue (1 was blown off roof), without missing a beat Michael submitted the paperwork with the insurance company, hired the solar company and ensured the work was done. This was all done during a time of high demand for competent roofers and Michael always answered my texts and kept his word. Could the roofer team have been a bit cleaner with the tear off, sure and could they have recovered the left over shingles and skids more expeditiously, sure thing. But we worked through those little things without any issue. Really, just an inconvenience. I would recommend Michael and Olympic Roofing and would use them again and that’s why I’m rating them 5 stars.
