It is always nice (and unfortunately rare) to experience a home repair or renovation project that goes well and reasonably close to as planned. We just had one of those extraordinary experiences. The nice folks at Nelson Exteriors completed an exterior wood repair and re-paint project on our home. The original budget was the most complete and reasonably priced (middle of quotes) of the multiple bids we obtained. That made it easy to identify what was included and what inevitably might need to be added. It’s an old house, we expected to expose other issues. Apples to apples - best proposal. The back-office folks were pleasant and helpful in getting the project scheduled and answering my questions. They worked around our schedule and to get the project started soon after the electronic paperwork was executed. The crews generated good work, arrived as scheduled and cleaned up at the end of the day. Wow! The best experience however was Dustin, the supervisor assigned to the job. He went out of his way to assure that the job went well, and we were completely satisfied. He showed up as planned and around our schedule. He clearly outlined and explained issues and gave reasonable estimates for the changes that we inevitably expected. It was a real pleasure working with him. Thank you, the house looks great. I’ve already begun recommending Nelson Exteriors to friends.
