I had shingles and a type of gutter shield placed on my gutters in April of 2017. In my contract I was to receive an extra pack of shingles. Fred ignored two phone calls requesting them. There are four segments of the gutter shield that aren't flush with each other. This will allow debris to get into the gutter and clog it up at the downspout. Because of the gutter shield it will almost be impossible to clean out. I also notice a small stream of water flowing down between the fascia and gutter. I called Fred twice to come out to look. He never showed. ( I ran a bead of chalking between the gutter and fascia myself and solved the problem). The roof itself looks very nice. I have noticed no problems with it so far.

I first called Fred Interthal when I realized my roof was leaking in the middle of winter. He was prompt to reply to my phone call and came out the next day. My roof was over 25 years old and had leaked in the past so I knew it needed a full replacement. Fred came out and provided an estimate and fixed the leak. With the leak fixed, we let Fred know we were not in a hurry to replace the roof and waited until spring to start the work. The work was performed by Fred and his employees. The job was not subcontracted out, like the other contractors who estimated were planning to do. The Interthal crew was hard working and respectful of my home and family. The crew arrived to start at 8:00AM both days. The site was cleaned each day before they left. They installed Owens Corning Dimensional shingles on the main roof and matching rolled asphalt roofing on the low-pitched sun room roof. The roof looks great. I'd highly recommend Interthal Contracting.
