Every aspect of this re-Roofing experience with Garcia Roofing was outstanding. Spencer (salesman/estimator) and Forrest (on-site foreman) were both professionals in every way. The roofers were on time, did an excellent job with the installation, and cleaned up the job site when finished. I give Garcia an A-plus for this job. Ron Ross

Garcia Roofing is an exceptional company to work with. Their professionalism and quality of work is superior. Everyone I’ve worked with from their office manager (Hailey), Sales (Tim), and Project Manager (Brett), offered great communication throughout the entire project. The workers were prompt, courteous, respectful, and hard working. I would highly recommend Garcia Roofing in the future.

Everything good and as promised. Big, old house, lots of roof. Removed old roof and padding, replaced some plywood. All new roof stacks and drip edge flashing. Cleanup was continuous and thorough. Personnel friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

Please read!! Terrible experience all the way through. The salesman David Winge said Garcia roofing was the highest quality company and hand nailed every shingle with six nails, so I went with them even though they were one of the higher priced companies. If this was true then it would have been a great experience. That’s where the plesentrys ended. First we were told to write a postdated check to “hold our place” until the insurance checks were deposited, instead they deposited the postdated check the next day. That should have been a sign of things to come and I should have walked then. David then assured me it was a small accounting error and promised a credit for the trouble, so I kept going. I was told the job would be completed in one day. I asked that our flower beds and water fountain be covered. I was told that wouldn’t be a problem. I was also promised an English speaking rep on site to voice concerns. When the crew got there I was immediately told it would be two days. Afterward told me they had nothing to cover flowerbeds etc. with. I lent them my tarps and helped them cover the areas I was concerned withThe rep who was supposed to be the go between hadn’t shown up yet and the dumpster that was supposed to be there wasn’t so they threw the stripped material in my yard. When the rep got there with tarps after the roof was mostly stripped, I showed him how a few of the materials that were supposed to be ordered weren’t there. He went to go get those missing items and that was the last time I saw him over the course of the two days. He didn’t even get everything needed to complete the job in the end and the crew just used the stuff that was suposed to be replaced and painted it! The crew then roughly comunicated they had no screw gun to take the satellite off of the roof. I thought I was offering the use of mine but they pointed to the roof and were motioning me to do it for them. I thought that was strange. I reluctantly climbed on the roof and did it for them. Then things got really bad, the crew barely finished a third of the roof on the first day and told me they would bring an additional guy the next morning. The one thing they did do was hand nail every shingle with six nails. That’s all that was good. They did sloppy work with crooked caps and extremely uneven valleys. I also observed them cutting the underlayment short and using small cuts of scrap as ineffective improperly installed patches. We also discovered that the underlayment was tucked under the drip edge!! This could be prevented by googling “roofing basics”. The water was then poised to flow into the new decking! The site rep Darren never showed up to see the final result. When I complained, he tried to tell me that’s what it was supposed to look like. After talking with David the sales rep he at least agreed that the work was unacceptable and should be re done in the areas I was concerned with. A new crew came out to fix the roof that had just been installed. They were much much better! But it was still like pulling teeth to get them to address all of the issues. After two more days of work on my roof (all the while my poor wife was inside with our infant daughter not able to nap for four days instead of the one as promised). I do have to say that the roof looks good. It should have never taken as much effort as it did. Now I have a repaired brand new roof! This won’t last as long as one put on correctly the first time. Some of the caps were broken when repairs were being done so now my brand new roof has shingles that are broken and glued together. I’m so disappointed with this company. Of course at the end of this fiasco the billing was wrong. Amazing! There was even more that I didn’t include in this novel, cause I’ll be surprised if anyone actually gets to the end of this review! The long short is RUN AWAY! Btw they say they have a Metairie address, they don’t...pay for the course.

We just had our roof replaced and we could not be more pleased with Garcia. We asked for an estimate through the website and David W. called us back. He was as friendly as he could be and we agreed on 6:00 the following day for a meeting. I love that it was a set appointment rather than 8:00 - 12:00 or 1:00 - 4:00 - who has time for that? At 6:00 David was ringing our doorbell and, needless to say, we were impressed. Others had estimated the pitch of the roof and used lasers in order to give us an estimate. Not David. He walked outside to look around and I followed him a few minutes later. When I didn't see him, I looked up and he is strolling around on the roof. I'm telling him not to fall and he is grinning at me. He walked every inch of that roof and checked for any potential damage or soft spots. Then he got down and discussed options with us. We chose our roof and he gave us the estimate. David sold Garcia to us - he was knowledgeable and personable and we trusted him. As it would turn out, we had every reason to...our final bill was exactly (to the penny) what David's estimate was. I believe that is because David got up on the roof and physically examined it...the way things used to be done. Without a proper examination before beginning a project, look for those "surprises" halfway through the job that blow up your budget. Who hasn't had that happen to them? Anyway, everything was smooth sailing from then on out. Every single person we spoke with was friendly and could answer a question. Never did we get transferred two or three times to get an answer nor did we have to wait for return calls. Garcia employees know about roof installation. All of them. They sent us emails ahead of time telling us what we needed to do and what to expect. The installation ran like a well oiled machine. Everyone on the installation crew was as friendly as they could be and man, do they work hard. It was impressive. In the end, I have a beautiful roof and we felt like we were given an extremely fair price. I would recommend this company to anyone. I don't know if they are the cheapest or not. What I do know is that the service they provide is well worth what we paid. For something as important as the roof on your house that protects all of the things that you cherish the most, maybe it isn't about being the cheapest. I think it is about providing a excellent product for a fair price. They certainly did that.
