Raab construction redid the tile in my bathroom shower after 3 other contractors said it couldn't be done. Very happy with the work Jimmy did and will use him in the future. I recommend them for any job you have to get done on your home in the York Pa Area for any Home remodeling, siding, roofing, windows, doors, kitchen remodeling, bathroom remodeling, basements, deck and more.....these guys do it Great Stuff
Raab Construction is THE Contractor. After an awful experience where another Contractor made promise after promise only to end up fraudulently stealing my money, we called Raab. Of course, we were leery of any contractor at this point, but Jim saved the day. He is upfront and tells it like it is....i.e., there were no empty promises. The final product is better than any architect could have designed and exceeds our expectations. Jim worked with us and guided us when we weren't sure what we wanted to provide a beautiful addition to our home. Be wary of the bad contractors and stick with the good ones. Jim Raab is one of the good ones......the best. Thanks Jim! Jeff and family
We couldn't be happier with the work of Raab Construction. From the start of the initial estimate, to the final minute they were there it was quality work at a very very affordable price. Jim Raab stood by his word and backed up all his work. The crew was dedicated and worked very hard to ensure we were happy every step of the way. There is no other contractor I would use in the York, Harrisburg or Lancaster area.
Don't even bother calling another contractor in the area to fix your house. I called close to 20 and all of them had BS excuses why they couldn't help me out. I called Jim Raab at 6:30AM one morning and he returned my call at 7:15. He said "I'll be over in a few hours to scope the job". He showed up precisely when he said he would and we ran through the repairs. He gave me a written estimate ON THE SPOT so I could send it to the estate attorney for approval. On 7/4 I had a 60' tree limb snap off and lay across four sections of roof on the rear of the house. A 4" diameter limb also punched through the rear wall. I got 4 estimates for the job and Raab Construction was the second lowest. The lowest bid was from two guys off Craigslist that I feel had no clue how to do what I wanted. To make this repair Jim had to get custom shaker shingles and hand split them to match the existing 30 year old shakes on the exterior. Also, the interior wall was aged barn wood that he had to saw out and match. His crew repaired the roof, the shingles, the wall, and they also patched another section of damaged shingles that wasn't even their responsibility. The entire job took his 4 man crew about 4 hours. I am *thoroughly* impressed with his work and his diligence to follow through with what he promised. 5 stars and I will pass his name along to anyone that asks me who I recommend in the area.
