As an out-of-area owner/manager of rental property in the Jacksonville area, I needed to be extremely picky with my roof contractor choice. Universal was the most responsive to my many questions and provided me with the most comprehensive cost estimates when compared with other contractors. They were very communicative throughout the roof installation process and did not disappoint. We live in a new development and noticed a neighbor had to get a new roof last month. Since our homes are not even 3 years old, I worried that meant the contractor had not done something right and wanted ours inspected. Devin with Universal Roofing came out and looked at our roof for free, assuring us it was just fine. He even cleaned up some rusty nails left behind by the contractor. My husband was convinced they would come out and "find a problem" that wasn't really there, but this company was honest, friendly, and thorough in assuring me we have nothing to worry about.
