Great Company! I had a small spot in my basement that would occasionally leak during heavy rain. Great Lakes was quick getting an estimate out and the staff was very friendly. The job was done right at a reasonable price. I haven't had any problems in my basement since the correction! Thanks!

Greatlakes Waterproofing company has an outstanding, friendly courteous customer service, we have used their service on many occasions on our rental properties and our private home, it is wonderful to rely on their prompt, efficient, excellent repairs. They really tackle the root of the problem and provide a remedy the first time at once. We are always confident that our basements are protected, they excel in doing a professional one-time fix. When we are looking to purchase properties with history of water problems that were never able to be addressed, the problem doesn't stop us from proceeding with the purchase because we feel confident that Great Lakes Waterproofing will resolve the problem efficiently, their system warranty transfers with the house, their service is outstanding and we definitely recommend to anyone. We have used their services since 1999

So far have had a great experience with this team for both carbon fiber strips to uphold our slightly buckling basement walls and for the Drain tile into our floor and wall to address our leaking problem on one of side of our basement. John explained the quote to me very clearly. Administration and scheduling was very easy to work with. Alex and his team both for the fiber strip install and the drain tile were courteous, professional, friendly, on-time, and it LOOKS like they did a good job. I suppose shall see once the water starts raining down again. But they do have a lifetime guarantee so I am not too worried.

I had a slight leak in the basement foundation on the west side of my house (where the rain always comes from) that had gotten progressively worse since the Galesburg earthquake a few years ago. I tried fixing it myself, but nothing worked. I finally decided to call in the pros, and was very happy with my experience with GLWP. The two guys that came out to do the work (I wish I could remember their names) were extremely polite, efficient, cleaned up their mess, and got the job done in about 2 hours. Later that night I discovered they'd left a work light in my basement so when I called the company the next day the manager made a special trip to come get it. I was very happy with my service, and would definitely recommend giving them a call!

Do not use this company (Great Lakes Waterproofing) they are very unethical and dishonest. Even their workers have negative things to say about this company and most workers don't stay long. My sister hired them and they screwed her over royally. There website says they use a "NO DIGGING Bentonite Clay injection system to seal-off those water pathways and keep your basement walls DRY FOR GOOD!" That might be true if they did the application correctly and used enough product, but they don't! My sister's basement leaked much worse after they did their work injecting the bentonite than before and when she called them to tell them, they gave her the run around and would NOT honestly and fairly address the problem at all. She had to hire another company to do the job all over again. This new company dug down along the exterior of her foundation to seal it off from the outside and when they did they discovered that very little of the Bentonite product had been injected where they said they injected it... a total scam! The second company has corrected the problem for her now, but she is out all of the money she paid to Great Lakes Waterproofing to do absolutely nothing, but cause a bigger problem. They will not make things right when you discover that they didn't do the job correctly and they will avoid you and not answer your calls after they have your money! Take heed to this warning... this company isn't ethical, does a lousy job, they will screw you over, you will lose a ton of money and still have a leaky basement!!!
